Amadou refers to a type of mushroom which has been, from my research, something used for centuries by various cultures for its wonderiffic properties. The soft, velvety texture of 'Amadou' was traditionally used in Europe as a dressing due to its absorbent and protective nature.

Hippocrates, often hailed as the "Father of Medicine," was a Greek physician in the 5th century BCE whose teachings and practices laid the foundation for modern medicine. He advocated for the healing power of nature and emphasized the importance of diet and lifestyle in maintaining health. By naming our serum "Amadou of Hippocrates," we feel that we pay homage to both the ancient practices of harnessing nature’s gifts for healing and the timeless wisdom of one of history’s greatest figures.
