The Mayans, known for a profound spiritual connection to cocoa, used it as both a currency and in ceremonial offerings historically, recognizing its powerful properties.
Inspired by their reverence, we researched the potent ingredients in Cocoa, and our recipe incorporates not only this powerhouse ingredient, but also Sweet Almond, Organic Refined Shea, and Natural Beeswax for their beautiful, complementary benefits.

4 Simple, Organic, Chemical-Free Ingredients:
Almond Oil: To nourish and soften skin, providing a silk-like texture. Almond Oil contains vitamin E (antioxidant), vitamin A, linoleic acid, and the mineral zinc.
Shea Butter: For intense hydrating qualities, to lock in moisture and soothe. Contains oleic, stearic, palmitic, and linoleic acids, Vitamin A & E, Triterpenes & phytosterols, and Ceramides.
Beeswax: incorporated to help replenish natural barrier, and to protect the skin from environmental ickies and pollutants. Contains Esters and fatty acids, & Vitamin A.
Unsweetened Cocoa: Infuses the butter with a multitude of rich antioxidants (like flavenols and polyphenols, zinc, magnesium, iron, and selenium, along with omega-6 fatty acids) and imparts a beautifully indulgent, chocolatey scent. :)
