Daydream: To embody a 'daydream', an essential oil blend would, in our opinion, need to balance the uplifting, imaginative qualities of citrus and floral scents with the serene, grounding notes of woods and resins. :) This scent combination is crafted to evoke an effortless escape, both light and rooted in contentment. Bright and airy top notes of Bergamot, Sweet orange, & Lemon. Soft, ethereal middle notes of Jasmine, Ylang Ylang, Neroli, and white tea. Calming Base notes of: Cedarwood, frankincense, vanilla, and sandalwood.

7 White Winds: Inspired by the concepts of cleansing, renewal, and the movement of wind, our "7 White Winds" essential oil has a crisp, invigorating, and purifying aroma. The scent feel to us, to be cool and fresh, with notes that evoke clarity and spiritual awakening, and would likely be mentally uplifting. Top Notes: Light, airy, and sharp. These bright, stimulating scents were crafted to create the initial impression of fresh, rushing air, like a gust of clean wind.
Peppermint: Offers a sharp, cool, and clean mint aroma. Eucalyptus: Provides a camphoraceous scent that feels fresh. Lemon: Adds a bright, tangy citrus note.

Moon Glow Prayer: Ethereal top notes (the "Moon Glow") These scents provide a light, shimmering opening, like the gentle radiance of moonlight. Lavender, Roman Chamomile, Neroli. Soft floral heart notes (the "Prayer")
The heart of the blend contains delicate florals that were crafted to inspire love. Jasmine Absolute, Rose Absolute, Ylang Ylang. Deep, earthy base notes (the "Glow" and "Prayer" together) These base notes ground and anchor the lighter scents. Frankincense, Sandalwood,
the "oil of tranquility," Vetiver.

Tibet: Our blend to 'capture' the crisp, cold air of the Himalayan mountains combined with the sacred, earthy, and spicy aromas of Tibetan incense and medicinal herbs. The overall impression is with grounding/centering in mind, evoking a sense of 'ancient spirituality' and alpine wilderness. Top Notes: Himalayan cedarwood & juniper with notes of cypress.
Middle Notes of Frankincense and myrrh represent the resins used in traditional Tibetan incense, creating a sense of a warm, spiritual, grounding base. Sage, Cardamom, clove, and cinnamon are often used in Tibetan incense and add a warm, spicy, and uplifting top note.
**Floral Touch: A subtle floral note from nag-champa.

Sacred Crescent: Our idea of the scent of 'woody, sweet, and grounding, with calming and spiritual notes.' A sacred crescent moon often symbolizes new beginnings, intuition, and spiritual alignment, so a blend with these intentions was our ideal:
Top note: Sweet orange & lemon zest. A bright, citrusy top note to represent the new beginnings and creative energy of a waxing moon, the period when a crescent moon grows larger.
Middle note: Lavender & rose. The gentle floral heart aroma was included to represent our idea of intuition and feminine energy. Base note: Frankincense and myrrh. These oils, to us, evoke sacred rituals, history, and ancient spiritual connections. The woody, balsamic aroma of frankincense and myrrh serve as our 'grounding' and 'introspective' base for the blend.
Additional notes for depth: Sandalwood and cedarwood are added for their calming, earthy qualities. :)

Boho Milk: To translate the idea of "Boho Milk" into an essential oil blend, we combined what we felt to be 'earthy, grounding, and sensual' scents characteristic of bohemian culture with soft, creamy notes that represent the "milk" aspect. We liken this blend to a cozy, warm, and comforting aroma that is both natural and subtly sweet. The rich, creamy base notes: Vanilla, Sandalwood. An earthy anchor: Patchouli, Cedarwood. The sensual, and floral heart: Ylang Ylang, Jasmine. The bright, uplift accent: A hint of bergamot, add a fresh, zesty top note that keeps the blend from becoming too heavy.

Heyoka: This scent profile is my personal favorite, and represents my study of a Heyoka's role as a 'mirror,' showing people what they need to see by stirring things up a bit, and embodying duality to bring on the clarity and healing. The scent profile for this blend was so much fun to craft! :) Our Heyoka blend does not have a simple, linear scent. It starts with an absurdly clashing and jarring combination, that eventually settles into that harmonious, comforting aroma. The contradictory nature is designed to waken the senses and promote a shift in perspective. Initial aroma: The Unexpected blend initially features what we can only describe as discordant, jarring top notes that are meant to 'challenge and surprise', just as a Heyoka would.
Bitter orange & lemon: A sharp, piercing citrus note to represent the Heyoka’s humor and wit. Peppermint: A cool, minty scent that provides a stark contrast to the warmer notes to come, representing the Heyoka’s contrary nature. Black pepper: A sharp, spicy note that mirrors the confrontational nature of a Heyoka's lessons. Developing aroma: As the top notes fade, a more complex, 'grounding center' emerges. Cypress: A dry, earthy wood to represent the grounding power of nature, recalling the spiritual origins tied to the 'thunder beings' of the West.
Vetiver: A thick, smoky aroma that adds a layer of weight and stability to the top notes, reflective of the Heyoka's deep-rooted purpose. Juniper berry: A resinous, woody scent.
Final aroma: "Sweet wisdom." The fragrance eventually settles into the warm and wise base—the essence of the Heyoka's healing intention. Frankincense and myrrh: Ancient, sacred resins were included as the base to promote a contemplative, spiritual aspect. These oleoresins represent the ultimate clarity and healing that emerged from the Heyoka's chaotic teachings.
Vanilla bean: A sweet, creamy vanilla or tonka bean note to soften the blend, symbolizing the laughter and joy that can follow the Heyoka's spiritual "storm".
Rose & ylang-ylang: A gentle, floral note to represent the underlying unconditional love that motivates the Heyoka's work. In essence, the blend is what I refer to as, a journey.
The Heyoka essential oil blend was not a simple, pleasant fragrance to craft, but an aromatic "experience," for me here at Wild Hermit. It begins with a sharp, unexpected combination and ends with what I felt to be a sacred, comforting, and deeply wise base. The sacred clown's (Heyoka) purpose in legend was to use 'chaos and contradiction' to move, people out of complaceny, guiding them toward a deeper truth and healing. This was my representation of this beautiful lore.
